Two years after Cradle To The Grave, their triumphant studio album return, Squeeze are back with another set of Difford & Tilbrook gems; The Knowledge. Recorded at their own 45RPM studio in Charlton, South-east London, and with production duties shared between founder band member Glenn Tilbrook and legendary knob-twiddler Laurie Latham, the album was released through Warner Music’s ADA on October 13th.
Following the success of their last double vinyl release, The Knowledge is also available as a gatefold 12 inch, with packaging designed once again by Stylorouge. Illustrator Pete Lloyd pitched in with some valuable illustration assistance.
With Melvyn Duffyand Lucy Shaw unavailable for the supporting autumn/winter Join The Dots tour, Steve Smith (formerly of Dirty Vegas) and veteran bassist Yolanda Charles will join Chris, Glenn, Simon Hanson and Stephen Large in the live Squeeze line-up.
Band photography was by Rob O’Connor.
