Self-help; the new rock and roll?

Andrew Wallas is the eponymous wizard, and Anna Wallas his wife – between them they’ve written a self-help book that breaks the mould of that curious, but best-selling publishing genre. Call Off The Search recounts the story of their own relationship and pulls no punches with the anecdotal vignettes that colourfully illustrate the advice embedded within it.

Stylorouge were approached to create a campaign to launch the book to the media – and again, the intention was to avoid the typical approach – so a brand identity was created to fit the title – the Modern Day Wizard moniker was bestowed on the psychologist Andrew by his journalist wife Anna – and a photoshoot and EPK video clip was produced to introduce the project to the media. The Mail On Sunday immediately picked up on the Wizard, by serialising the book, and daytime TV have also welcomed the couple with open arms –  their first appearance being on ITV’s Lorraine show

Design for Stylorouge was by Jojo Ma, photography by Rob O’Connor, video edited by Jamie Gibson.
